School Trustee Election - May 10, 2008
The following candidates will be listed on the ballot as follows:

Thomas Patterson
Alan Ray Wallen
Jerry L. Denton
Vote for 2 of the candidates, full 3 year terms
Early voting by personal appearance will conducted each weekday at Hunt County Voter's Administration, 2217A Washington, Greenville, Texas between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm beginning on April 28th and ending on May 6th. Additional early voting will be held at the same location as follows:
April 29th - 7:00am - 7:00pm
May 1st - 7:00am - 7:00pm
Applications for ballot by mail shall be mailed to:

Applications for ballots by mail must be received no later than the close of business on May 2nd.
May 10th voting will be conducted at Lone Oak Elementary,
8163 Hwy 69th South, 7:00am - 7:00pm.

From the Superintendent
I hope you have had the opportunity to drive by and see the new elementary building under construction. We should be moving in the early summer! Because of this, we will be very busy in the next few weeks making personnel assignments and making plans on all procedures from food service to traffic flow as we will need to adjust many of the things we do.
Another project underway is the installation of new security systems at both the elementary and middle schools. Unfortunately security and convenience do not go hand in hand. However, the security of our students outweighs the convenience of the parents; and everyone seems to support the increased security.
It is a joy to work in such a caring and down-to-earth district. I am very proud of our district and everyone that strives everyday to make it better.
